Ceremony is the sacred way we mark occasions and declare intentions.

Non-traditional wedding ceremonies give people the freedom and inspiration to co-create an experience that is meaningful to them. This allows couples to express their individuality and commitment through their ceremony.

Love is Universal and transcends beyond labels and expectations. The heart wants what the heart wants, and as long as that feeling is mutual, nothing should stand in the way of it. Therefore, I support all expressions of love and faith (or non-faith) as long as there is consent, good intentions and everyone is of sound mind.

I specialize in deeply personal ceremonies that are spiritual in nature (or not) but not necessarily religious. I will incorporate some aspects of religion as long as they are in alignment and I feel as though I am qualified.  

About me (Spiritually speaking):
I do not subscribe to organized religion, but I do believe in Christ/Consciousness. My spiritual background is in paganism and traditional Native American practices and beliefs (I have Blackfoot roots, but like my spirituality, my heritage is a quilt of many colors as well). I do not judge others expressions of faith, I believe there are many paths to the same destination and that no true god would deny a pure heart simply cause they picked the wrong team among MANY who swear they are the way to salvation. I believe only we can develop a relationship with God/Universe/Ourselves that is deeply meaningful and true. 

Working Together:
Once initial contact has been made and there is availability for your date, we will schedule a phone or facetime interview where we can all feel out the energy and see if we're a good fit. Choosing your officiant should feel good and right to you. 

If we all agree to proceed, a deposit to hold your date will be required (usually no more than 50$). 
From there a PDF will be sent to you which is a guide and questionnaire that will lay the groundwork for developing your personalized ceremony. We will all collaborate and co-create together and individually. You will be able to read/review the ceremony I have written for you with time to alter/edit any changes before the ceremony. 

The day of the ceremony I will be at least 1 hour early and will check in with whoever has been designated as your person, or I will seek you out personally. I do enjoy having a moment together before the ceremony for a little grounding and breathwork. Taking a moment to becoming fully present. It will all go by so fast, so it's good to draw in your energy and attention so you can soak up and really take in each moment more slowly. This is a good time for a blessing/prayer/smudging....whatever speaks to you. Everyone needs breath, though - so that's my favorite place to start.

On the day of your wedding I will be well dressed, well mannered, on time (barring an emergency - in which communication would be my first priority), and will perform the ceremony as agreed. Within the hour we will sign the paperwork (you are required to get your marriage license and have it ready w/the envelope that came with it). Payment is expected in full the day of or days before the wedding. 

What's Included:
The straightforward package starts at $222 (Variations depend on location and time of year, and if you need me at a rehearsal). This includes a fully written and laid out custom ceremony that is created with or for you, and ultimately approved by you and performance of said ceremony.
