Juliea has trained a number of successful doulas in the West Michigan area and coached hundreds of others virtually throughout the world out of a sheer desire to support doulas and help bridge the gap for practical application of skills and professional development. Crowning Lotus believes that this sort of work should be handed down woman to woman, and that only learning in a workshop and home-study environment is detrimental to both the doula and the parents. This training goes above and beyond traditional requirements found in most modern certification processes while also providing you with their missing element - community and support for the doula and hands on experience with experts in the field.
