The CommonUnity Collective is a shared work/play/slay space in Grand Rapids for a club of artists, healers, activists, and innovators to come together in a supportive and inclusive environment. We offer affordable, accessible space for creativity and connectivity to spark change within ourselves, our communities, and our environment. Mission: To provide accessible space for productive dreams, ideas and services which honor our basic human right to the pursuit of happiness and freedom. A movement based on the radical idea of true community that shares it's knowledge and resources for the purpose of promoting independence from consumerist and systematic dependency. The CommonUNiTY Collective should essentially run itself through the constant interaction and use of the space through its residents and members. Through collective participation it breaks the costs of operation down enough to keep it affordable and accessible to utilize for our independent and collective needs. Any profits generated above the cost of operation are invested back into the space as well as the goals of the collective. These goals are created by the Tribal Council but are driven by the changing needs of our collective community. It is set to open Mid May/Early June, with a soft opening on 4.20. I am craving women friends. I love to chit chat. I hate Donald Trump. I lived in very poor quarters in Jr. High and High School. You never knew which cupboard would open to a rat. I begged mom to move. She didn't. Been in and out of Grand Rapids since 20 years old. Now I'm 66. I'm a young thinking 66. I tap into people easily. I know how to stand on my own two feet, but have become trapped. I need an objective and love your ideas. My main person in my life was my son Ethan. He was my best friend. He died in the room next to me without hearing a thing. I miss him beyond life. The hole is huge. I'm happy to have known him for 31 beautiful years. I love the strength I used to have and hope to find it again. This CommUnity can be my answer to belonging. I will never ghost you.
